SSIB, is a privately held company, formerly Insurance Brokers & Management Company Limited (“IB&M”), and was founded on January 1st 1981. The company is a licensed insurance and reinsurance broker, based in Bermuda and regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.

A boutique broker, our unique business model is focused on providing insurance broking services to boutique businesses who have a niche product or who wish to participate in their risk. We provide these businesses with a structured insurance solution that enables them to grow, become less reliant on the swings of the traditional market by managing and participating in their risk.

Our model is not only unique in focus but also unique in that it combines the high level of personal service, whilst at the same time offering the services many of our clients require in order to protect and grow their business. Our moto is to work with the best in class, providing these businesses with a solution that protects and strengthens their assets.

We provide access to a network of regulated licensed brokers in the risk domicile, fronting carriers, issuing carriers that take risk, reinsurance capacity, self-insurance via captive or segregated cell captives.

We work with a host of captive managers who manage Captives, Risk Purchasing Groups and Risk Retention Groups. We provide insurance and reinsurance solutions for these entities.
